The Children (1980)
Et kernekraftværk slår læk, en busfuld af syngende skolebørn indhylles i det kulørte udslip, og den lille bys sherif ved ikke hverken hvad han skal stille op med ungernes forsvinden, eller deres tilbagevenden som huløjede mutanter med sorte negle.
Det kan på papiret lyde interessant, men The children er på ingen parametre en vellykket film: den er langsom, usammenhængende, og mangler den mest elementære spænding. Kun fra et kreativt synspunkt har den interesse, for så frustrerende amatørisk er den, at man vil lave sin egen, bedre version.

@allan Jeg fristes til (som erstatning) at anbefale filmen fra 2008 af samme navn, der er en ganske effektiv lille omgang "børnene er onde". Med den lidt for kække tagline "You brought them into this world. They'll take you out."
